Battlefront 2 crashes when loading map

I was recently gifted Battlefront 2 on Steam, and got the game running fine with no problems, then I got into the MP with a friend, and as expected, everything went well, until the match ended and the map was being changed.It minimizes the game and I can no longer see my cursor for some reason, cant do anything, and I am forced to restart the computer.
